A fishing boat of spectacular description was sold today at the Dubai International Boat Show, in what has become an increasingly global stage for local boat builders. 

With an astounding 9 world premieres, 24 regional launches, and 750 companies plus 430 boats on display, the strength of this year’s 20th anniversary event programming clearly reaffirms its position as one of the top five international boat shows and the Middle East’s number one destination for leisure marine trade. 

The UAE based boat builder, Samawy Marine, announced the sale of its first Samawy 44.  With its eco- friendly design, Samawy 44 preserves coral and marine life habitat, with an open console most suitable for fishing, diving and day trips.  Measuring a staggering 14.4 metre in length, with three 350hp outboard max engines and a fuel capacity of 1,800 litres, the Samawy 44 can also reach top speeds of 42knots.
