Sheikh Saeed Halls
The newest addition to the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) is the Sheikh Saeed Halls, a state-of-the-art extension which opened for the 2009 Exhibition Season. The four new halls add over 25,000 sq m of exhibition space, bringing the DICEC's total amount of covered exhibition space to over 1,000,000 sq feet, cementing DWTC's position as the largest venue in the Middle East Region. The halls have been designed and built with the aim of fuelling the growing momentum of the MICE sector in Dubai and handling the increased demand for exhibition space throughout the region.

The Sheikh Saeed halls complement the existing facility and are supported by the new Trade Centre Plaza that will connect the new Dubai World Trade Centre metro station with DICEC. The Plaza will contain world class amenities including retail, restaurants and coffee shops, temporary open exhibits and shaded areas around a pro-actively managed open space that will be used to entertain visitors throughout the year.
The centrepiece of the Sheikh Saeed Halls is the multi-purpose Trade Centre Arena, a truly world class venue and the largest arena in the Middle East. The Arena alone boasts over 9,100 square metres of covered exhibition space with a capacity to hold a variety of events and concerts for over 10,000 guests. With a ceiling height of 14 metres; this multi-purpose hall will provide an excellent indoor venue for concerts and has the flexibility to host a variety of other events from prestigious royal weddings to high-class entertainment events and official sporting and athletic events.
