Ever since our inauguration in 1979, Dubai World Trade Centre is connecting people through the events we host. A diverse collection of five hotels and serviced apartments cater to a range of needs and budgets in proximity to our venue. In addition to dedicated parking garages there is an on site metro station, to provide accessibility to all visitors.
DICEC offers a collection of event spaces, with flexibility for all events from large scale open spaces to auditoriums for seated audiences and an arena large enough for 10,000 fans. Hosting more than 300 events annually, DICEC connects people, products and ideas from around the globe through its calendar of international trade fairs, consumer shows and prestigious international conferences. Formally named the Trade Centre Tower and later renamed in honour of the late Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the tower stands 149 meters high. It represented the emirate’s rising ambitions and remained the region’s tallest building for 20 years. As our first property, that opened for business in 1979, the iconic Sheikh Rashid Tower that till today adorns the DH 100 note, remains to be a fitting tribute the city’s incredible financial growth and the role Dubai World Trade Centre has played in its success. Office spaces range from as small as 160 sq. ft. to 12,500 sq. ft. – the size of an entire floor. Today the tower is home to many multinational tenants, government entities and consulates.
This office building was completed in 2004 and is home to a number of leading tenants, including corporations and government entities. The building features floor to ceiling windows, offering office spaces with plenty of natural light. Areas range from 2,500 sq. ft. and entire floors at 19,600 sq. ft. All offices are part of the DWTC Free Zone, affording tenants many valuable business privileges. The tower is walking distance to retail, F&B and business hotels onsite. The Offices are located inside the DWTC Authority free zone at the heart of Dubai’s Central Business District. This three-star hotel with 588 rooms opened in March 2016 within our ground-breaking One Central development. Guest rooms are equipped with Sweet Bed by ibis bedding, desks, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and stylish bathrooms. The hotel has one restaurant on site and offers 5 flexible meeting spaces that can accommodate up to 200 guests.
Located on Exhibition Plaza, the Metro station exclusively serves Red Line trains, which run from the airport to Dubai Marina.The Dubai Metro is a convenient, inexpensive, air-conditioned, and very modern choice for public transportation in this bustling city. Trains run roughly every five minutes during peak times, and every eight minutes off-peak. Stations are open 6.00am to 11.00pm Sunday to Thursday, or 1.00pm to midnight on Friday.
A preferred choice for visitors and exhibitors, it is easily accessible from all the surrounding main arteries and includes dedicated bays for electric vehicles, as well as two rooftop helipads with solar panels.
